Vigeland Park

Oslo, Norway

About

Frogner Park, Oslo's largest park, is a public space in the borough of Frogner. Open to the public at all times, it's historically part of Frogner Manor. The park contains the manor house, home to the Oslo Museum, as well as the Henriette Wegner Pavilion, Frogner Baths, Frogner stadion, Frognerparken Café, and Herregårdskroen restaurant. It also features Norway's largest collection of roses, with 14,000 plants representing 150 species.

Within Frogner Park is Vigeland Park, the world's largest sculpture park created by a single artist. It displays over 200 bronze, granite, and wrought-iron sculptures by Gustav Vigeland, including the famous Monolith. Frogner Park is Norway's most visited tourist attraction.
