Schlosspark Teich

Also known as Hohenauer Teich, this artificial pond near the Lainzer Tor entrance to Lainzer Tiergarten was created by damming the Lainzer Bach. A haven for wildlife including rare ducks and large carp, surrounded by expansive meadows and a large playground. Swimming is prohibited to preserve the delicate ecosystem, but the area is perfect for family picnics and relaxation.
