Griffith Park, one of the largest urban parks in North America, covers 4,310 acres at the eastern end of the Santa Monica Mountains. It stretches from the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles to the San Fernando Valley and includes attractions like the Griffith Observatory, the LA Zoo, the Autry Museum of the American West, and the Hollywood Sign. Hiking trails offer views of the Hollywood Sign. The Greek Theatre is also located in the park. Griffith Park is well-known, in part, for its many appearances in films.
