Getting There
Wertheimsteinpark is in Vienna's 19th district, Döbling, so it's easy to get to.
For a stress-free trip, use Vienna's public transport. Tram lines 37 and 38 stop nearby. Bus lines 35A and 37A are also options, dropping you close to the entrances.
If you're driving, parking can be tricky in the residential streets around Wertheimsteinpark, so keep that in mind. Plan your route to one of the main entrances. The entrances on Billrothstraße or Döblinger Hauptstraße are good places to aim for, whether you're driving or taking public transport.
What to Expect
Wertheimsteinpark covers 6.3 hectares and is perfect for a relaxed walk. It used to be a private garden.
A unique spot is Austria's first garden for the blind, created in 1959. It has a multi-sensory experience and Braille information. There's also a historical pond and fairytale playgrounds.
Set aside 2–3 hours to see the grounds, the pond, and the Döbling Museum and wine museum in the villa. It can get moderately crowded, especially by the playgrounds and museum entrances.
